Timber Art Wall Clock

Brent from Opaheke

Stunning timber art wall clock, handmade from reclaimed native Matai timber. Small size (210mm diameter) fits perfectly into smaller spaces as a statement piece.

Hand made, hand painted and hand burnt (pyrography) New Zealand by SR&R. With the juxtaposition of natural timber, painting and pyrography this clock will make a wall something special.

the timber this clock was made from used to line the walls of an old house in Palmerston North, and was saved from the fate of landfill!

Items made from reclaimed timber often have small imperfections and character marks - this only adds to their charm.

This is listed elsewhere for $89 - decided to offer to my neighbors for a discount :)

Price: $50

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
