Jobbies.
Hi Neighbours ~ After we get N.Y. out of the way I will be looking for a person (or people) to do some jobbies for me, like cleaning outside windows (single storey townhouse, central Papakura)), weed spraying, water blasting driveway, roof cleaning & such. I am a disabled pensioner & don't want to have to sell a kidney to do these things or cost me an arm & a leg. I just want to be able to stay in my own home for as long as possible as there is no way I am going into a retirement village. I am young at heart, slightly older in other places! One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
