SPCA Snip'n'Chip
Help reduce the number of stray kitties around! Every time you give away an unneutered kitten to someone, that kitten has a high chance of having babies itself. Sometimes those babies wander off, or get dumped later in life - if you aren't desexing your pets you are directly contributing to the number of stray and neglected animals in NZ. You are part of the problem.
Too pricey? The SPCA will desex AND microchip your kitties for free. Please do your bit. Click the link for more info and to register.

Leisure Time POP
we spent Friday night camped at Bobs Leisure Time POP near Glenbrook, grandson loved especially when the train went past all lit up - just watch out for your ears when the engine whistle blows 🙂
Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
