Glenbrook Vintage Railway
Shocked to see that the Glenbrook Vintage Railway is in jeopardy of failing or having to be mothballed as they have had no income since early this year due to Covid-19. Their resources are dwindling.
This iconic piece of history is a valuable asset to our community and to the whole Franklin area and we can't let it fail!
They are asking for donations to assist.

Our amazing Hillary Hikers from Edmund Hillary Village showed their support for Bowel Cancer New Zealand's Move Your Butt campaign this month!
Sporting the bright purple and orange campaign shirts, these wonderful walkers hit the Auckland waterfront and marched from Mission Bay to Kohimarama, raising awareness for bowel cancer and the importance of early detection along the way.

Pickleball , Give it a try
The Pukekohe Pickleball Club has an open session tomorrow (Thursday) night from 6.30pm at the Pukekohe Netball Centre in Queens Rd Pukekohe - (near Pak & Save) and would like to invite established players to come for a game and also people who have wanted to give Pickleball a try
Its $10 to be given a paddle to play with and to be shown how to play this exciting fun filled game by one of our veteran players
The weather is looking great and its wonderful playing outside on a beautiful summer night , so come and join us
