We are looking for the right person – is this you?

Glenbrook Kindergarten is an established, attractive and well-resourced centre nestled in the lovely rural town of Glenbrook.

This is a full time 40 hour per week position (8:00a.m. – 5:00p.m. Monday – Friday). The kindergarten currently very successfully operates a mix of 6 hour and 4 hour sessions and has a licenced roll of 30 children and a 1:10 teacher to child ratio, with an age range from 2 – 5 years.

We are seeking a Head Teacher who possesses experience with ECE management, who is versatile and a great communicator, who can lead quality teaching practices for a small team in a mixed age setting, working within a very supportive local community.

Counties Manukau Kindergarten Association offers leadership support, generous employment terms and conditions including 6 weeks annual leave, and quality professional learning and development opportunities.

Start date: To be negotiated

Hours required: Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)

Applications close: 4:00pm, Wednesday 26th June 2019

Applicants require a Bachelor of Teaching ECE, current first aid certificate and current teacher registration practising certificate.

Applicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand.
