Thank you South Auckland Volunteers
☀️ HELLO SPRING! ☀️
250+ volunteers, welcomed in Spring with a good old spring clean last Saturday. Giving nearly 800 hours to their local town centre.
A HUGE thank you to all those involved, especially Papakura Local Board and the Business Association,
Papakura/Franklin GJ Gardner Team who sponsored KNZB Week, funded the scrumptious sausages from Drury Butchers for the BBQ and who also joined in the clean-up with a team of 23 workers.
The local NZ Police for an impressive job cooking the BBQ! Thank you to the Westforce Credit Union for the delicious food they kindly contributed and lastly City Care for picking up 4 large piles of rubbish removed.

Leisure Time POP
we spent Friday night camped at Bobs Leisure Time POP near Glenbrook, grandson loved especially when the train went past all lit up - just watch out for your ears when the engine whistle blows 🙂
Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
