Another month, another new record high for Palmerston North rental prices. And there always seems to be less flats available... If you're struggling with a rent hike, feeling a bit stuck because you can't find a flat to move into for love nor money, or have found a novel way to sort out your accommodation we'd like to hear from you.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
