Workshop space needed
The Palmerston North Rock and Mineral Club are looking for a space to run their workshop, this would include setting up our rock saws, grinders, and other machinery.
Minimum size would be about the size of a double garage, we are a non-profit club so low/peppercorn rent. We would need the space to have power, access to water, and preferably with access to bathroom facilities.
A farm shed in or around Palmerston North or other building space would suit.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
-
60.5% Yes, supporting people is important!
-
24% No, individuals should take responsibility
-
15.4% ... It is complicated
