iBike4Kids - an event for kids who love being out on their bikes

Bill from Hokowhitu

iBike4Kids is back for 2022

After a 2 year break due too Covid-19, we are back for 2022 on Sunday November 6th at the Victoria Esplanade.

iBike4Kids is a cycling event for preschool, primary and intermediate aged kids.

iBike has been run by the Manawatu Mountain Bike since 2005, and over that time thousands of kids have had fun riding their bikes at our event. At our last event in 2019 we had over 500 entrants.

You can get more details or enter kids online or via Facebook

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
