We Will Rock You - Brilliant!!!
Last night I attended the opening night of We Will Rock You – the musical staged by local company Act 3 Productions at the Regent on Broadway. Wow! What a great show. It’s a big production with a full live band and an energetic, colourful cast; all locals with one exception. The staging is elaborate with the full We Will Rock You set and spectacular lighting. This is the second Act 3 show I have seen; I attended Chicago earlier this year. The company has achieved a very high standard, and the depth of talent in this area of New Zealand is quite astounding. Congratulations Act 3, and thanks to all the cast and crew for a great night.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
-
60% Yes, supporting people is important!
-
24.5% No, individuals should take responsibility
-
15.5% ... It is complicated
