Missing cat Chester

Margaret from West End

Our beautiful boy Chester is still missing from Ranara Court and we are losing hope. If he's locked in somewhere he will be starving by now, as he was last seen on Monday 21 June. If you live in the Park Road-Batt St-College St area or nearby, please, please check your property - and your neighbours' if they are away. He doesn't usually go near the road, but if he has been killed some how, it would be far better to know than to imagine. He's quite a large cat and black and white, with a black 'mask' effect on his face. Ph 027 2424-112 or 06 3572116.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?

Kathryn from West End

Kia ora neighbours,

Is there anywhere yet in Palmy where bubble wrap & polystyrene can be taken for recycling?

Thank you.
