First Ever Deaf and Disabled Young Adults Forums

Our first Deaf and Disabled Young Adults forums have been a roaring success!!!! Thanks to everyone who attended and everyone who helped make it such a good time!!!
We covered the first principle of EGL (Self Determination) and the Vision for disabled lives. There was amazing engagement and we had lots of laughs!

Finishing with board games and subway really went down a treat and we're excited to see how next month goes!!

If you're between 18-35 please come along next month 10:30am-12:30pm Saturday the 7th September at St Peters Church Hall, Palmerston North

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
