Expected Food Together contents for 9 May

Kathriona Benvie from

We had an interesting time packing four different types of orders this week but the team said it was great to have a new challenge. Normally I post pictures of the orders on our Facebook and Neighbourly pages but this week I will also attach photos to this email so you can see what last week's new style of orders look like.
The winner of the lucky draw for a free Community Gourmet order ($26.50 value) is Kim S.
This week's expected contents are as follows: $10 Gold lettuce, telecucumber. tomatoes, apples, pears and mandarins. The $15 Community Value order will have more volume than Gold in apples, mandarins and tomatoes plus carrots added. The $26.50 Community Gourmet will have more volume than the Community Value plus spinach. potatoes, grapes and bananas. The $36.50 Whanau Fiesta box has more volume of tomatoes, carrots, potatoes, apples, mandarins and bananas but the same contents as the Gourmet.. The Deal of the week is broccoli for $1.

Why not order now using the link foodtogether.co.nz... or ensure you place your orders before midday on Tuesday 7 May.

Poll: 🤖 What skills do you think give a CV the ultimate edge in a robot-filled workplace?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Reserve Bank has shared some pretty blunt advice: there’s no such thing as a “safe” job anymore 🛟😑

Robots are stepping into repetitive roles in factories, plants and warehouses. AI is taking care of the admin tasks that once filled many mid-level office jobs.

We want to know: As the world evolves, what skills do you think give a CV the ultimate edge in a robot-filled workplace?

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
