My Health myself Posts

Gavin Hurnard from My Health Myself | Tōku Ora Whānau Ora

Well, that didn't work.
The first courses start tomorrow (Feilding, Palmerston North, and Otaki), and I failed dismally at posting every day leading up to them, so please accept my apologies.

Part of what we do on a course is an activity called Action Planning. This is a way to break goals down into doable chunks. Those that wish to, choose something they would like to achieve over the next week (e.g. walking a set number of times, cleaning out a cupboard, practising guitar, that sort of thing), and then feed back to the group the following week. Another leader and myself will be facilitating the course in Feilding and we will be creating Action Plans each week too.

At the risk of getting egg on my face a second time, I thought perhaps I would post my Action Plans each week and feed back in public how I am getting on. After all, what could possibly go wrong?

So I think, for my first Action Plan, I will aim to do 30 minutes of guitar practice three times over the week.

Wish me luck.

Scratch that, wish my family luck!

Gavin

The Reserve Bank has shared some pretty blunt advice: there’s no such thing as a “safe” job anymore 🛟😑

Robots are stepping into repetitive roles in factories, plants and warehouses. AI is taking care of the admin tasks that once filled many mid-level office jobs.

We want to know: As the world evolves, what skills do you think give a CV the ultimate edge in a robot-filled workplace?
