International Day for Older Persons
Come party with us on IDOP day!
This Wednesday is International Day for Older Persons: a global celebration of the contributions of older people. We are celebrating by turning our usual Shake, Rattle n Roll dance exercise class into a free fun afternoon! We will have about 30 min of our dance exercise class and then a delicious spread for afternoon tea. Come and get your groove on to celebrate living long!
Friends and whānau welcome. Wednesday 1 October 1:30pm at the Leisure Centre.

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
-
59.5% Yes, supporting people is important!
-
26% No, individuals should take responsibility
