Young student looking for household goods for new flat

My 19 year old son is moving into his first flat in Palmerston North and is looking for household goods for free or reasonable price. If anyone has any household goods they want to sell or give away please feel free to flick me a message.

Specifically after:
Fridge, sofa/sofa bed, tv entertainment unit/tv stand, wardrobes, big desk for his study, ect.

Can pickup this weekend cash in hand.

Manawatu Guardian to cease publishing 😔

Sad news that the Manawatu Guardian newspaper is finishing up this month. It’s actually the only newspaper I read faithfully every week! I’d be happy to pay a small subscription to keep it going; hopefully if enough people feel the same, it would have a chance.
