Call for Submissions: Feilding and District Art Society Art Awards
The deadline for entries in the 2022 Art Awards is fast approaching…
The Feilding and District Art Society is inviting emerging and established artists of all ages to take part in what is set to be our biggest Art Awards yet!
Thanks to the support of our generous sponsors, every artist who submits work for the 2022 Art Awards becomes eligible to win a share of our $6,500 prize pool, which includes the $2,000 Mazda Foundation Youth Award and $2,000 Gull Supreme Award.
Prizes aside, the Art Awards are a perfect opportunity to showcase your best new work to an audience of art lovers, with the exhibition running from October 14 to November 16 – including the weekend of Art Trail Manawatu.

Send in the photos and the stories behind your man caves, she sheds, clever upcycled spaces, potty potting sheds and colourful chicken coops. The Resene Shed of the Year 2026 winner receives $1000 Resene ColorShop voucher, a $908 large Vegepod Starter Pack and a one-year subscription to NZ Gardener. Feilding Repair Cafe
The first Feilding Repair CAFE for 2026 is on Saturday Feb 21 from 10am until noon. The last fix is taken at 11.45am.
We are a team of specialist volunteers who will assess and possibly mend your broken household and garden items. If you can carry or wheel it in we're willing to have a look and see what can be done. Items made of wood, metal, plastic, fabric, ceramic, paper are all considered - we also have a knife and tool sharpener and a jeweler available. You can find us at the Senior Hub 14 Bowen St Feilding .
