Come to The Square in Feilding Saturday morning and find a bargain or two. The Air Cadet Market is on, and the cadets are doing their regular and very delicious sausage sizzle. (The profits from this help with running costs for the Squadron.) Various stalls sell an assortment of things you didn't know you needed, and you can have a stall of your own for $10 per site. Opens at 9am, closes at 1pm. Come along and buy local!

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
