Knitting Group Volunteer

Evolve your knitting skills and give back to the community.
We meet in the morning of the second Wednesday of each month to knit items for donation to local families.
Typically we knit items for babies such at beanies, singlets, jackets and blankets and deliver them to the local hospital. You will also help keeping records for the group.
Curtain Bank Volunteer
We are looking for volunteers to support the Curtain Bank on Domain Street, Palmerston North.
We need volunteers who can sew, and volunteers who can help sort, measure, and pack orders. Training is provided.
We up-cycle old donated curtains and re-line them before distributing them.
The curtain bank is open Wednesday and Friday from 10:00 am to 2:00pm but will be increasing to 5 days per week.
