Custom-made Bird Cage Birdcage - with accessories
This custom-made bird cage was built for a parrot just 9 months ago. Unfortunately due to a change in family circumstances the parrot had to be re-homed but this lovely untreated pine birdcage is now avaliable for sale.
It is easy to transport as it is 3 seperate pieces - none of which are particularly heavy.
The bottom section is on castors and the whole cage can be easily moved as one unit when you have a bird inside. The cage would often get rolled outside for the parrot to enjoy the sunshine on a warm day. *Please note that the cage is not suitable to be a permanent outdoor cage as the pine is untreated and will rot if left in the weather.
The cage can come with some accessories for no extra charge. There is a hanging chew toy, 3 feed/water bowls and 4kg left of a 5kg bag of Topflite Super Sprout (I also have a few other bits and pieces you can have).
The parrot did sometimes nibble away at the inside of the cage. The damage is minimal. She also chewed one of the outside edges in a spot where she would enjoy sitting when she was let out. I have included a photo of that.
The middle section has a square hole cut out of the top and the top section has a hole cut out of the bottom. With the holes lined up the bird can easily go between the middle and top sections of the cage.
The top section doesn't have a fixed perch but I bought an adjustable one which was also a chew toy. It's pretty chewed now but you are welcome to it if you want.
Measurements: The top section: H:46.5cm x W:44.5cm x D:44.5cm
The Middle section has a fixed perch as well as a shelf attached. It has a door with a magnetic stopper and an access door for ease of cleaning the bottom of the cage also with a magnetic stopper. H:95.5cm x W:59.5cm x D:59.5cm
Bottom section: H:61.5cm x W:60.5cm x D:60.5cm
Could possibly deliver if local. Happy for you to view. Please contact Natasha on 027 447 8355

Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?
An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
