Hi there, here is the list of contents we anticipate being in this week's Vege Hub orders:
Cabbage
Broccoli
Potato
Oranges Navel
Pacific Rose/Queen Apples
Banana
Orders are $15 each. Instructions on how to pay/order can be found following the link below or in the PDF provided.
Orders need to be placed before Tuesday 12 noon for pick up on Thursday. If you are not sure your transaction will be processed by the bank in time, feel free to email or msg (via our Facebook page) a screenshot.
Please note: As from this week, we regretfully have had to drop Allsorts Cafe off our list of collection points due to low numbers of customers collecting from this point. With orders up to around 100 lately, our team is currently reviewing the logistics of what we do and will make changes where possible to lighten the load on our volunteers. The people with Allsorts have been a great source of support for us. With all our hearts we thank them. The Allsorts team offer a much needed and fantastic service to the community, and I will be looking for future ways to partner with them and to support the mahi they do.
Sing out if you have any questions, and remember to bring some bags!
Recycling question!
Kia ora neighbours,

Thank you.
Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
-
59.5% Yes, supporting people is important!
-
26.2% No, individuals should take responsibility
-
14.3% ... It is complicated
