- Recently I got a good fridge, including delivery, for $125. Also, a snazzy wetsuit that fitted me perfectly, for $3. A CD collection of about 100 cds for about $30 to use in the kitchen when bored with radio, a civil defense wind-up radio/lamp, and a four gallon water container for $5. Beach shoes, $5.
- Tomorrow there's a sale at the Bowling club on Featherston St. near Botanical. None in the Standard tonight, but usually there's a few.
- 'Good to get out and about. Combine it with a visit to the Albert Street market, encounter friends, maybe have a meal in town.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
