Beginner's Computer Basics class

John Gibsone from SeniorNet Manawatū

If you are reading this then you may not need this class! However, you may know someone who could benefit - Aunty Maude, Grandad... So please pass the message on. We are teaching very basic skills using Chromebooks.

This will be 6-8 lessons in a small group starting in early October. There will be a small fee of $60 for this class to cover our room hire. We will have devices available but we expect students to purchase their own devices before the end of the course. We will advise on this. (There's no point in learning if you can't use it!).

There will be a class held in Palmerston North, and one in Feilding.

Contact us for more info, or to register.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
