One world shared by all

Reporter Manawatū Standard

Kia ora e hoa mā,

Palmerston North's festival of cultures saw more than 10,000 people come together to explore and celebrate each others differences through food, music, dance and conversations.

Across the city, more than 100 different cultures were showcased, with Egypt taking home the trophy for best stall this year.

The city is home to a variety of people from all different backgrounds, do we need to learn more about our neighbours we share the city with?

Manawatu Guardian to cease publishing 😔

Kathryn from West End

Sad news that the Manawatu Guardian newspaper is finishing up this month. It’s actually the only newspaper I read faithfully every week! I’d be happy to pay a small subscription to keep it going; hopefully if enough people feel the same, it would have a chance.
