Yet again Bunnythorpe's community centre has been delayed because its $2.3m concept plans are seen as too grand for such a small community by potential funders.
About 700 people live in Bunnythorpe, but it's also about 10kms from Palmerston North, Ashhurst and Feilding.

Sad news that the Manawatu Guardian newspaper is finishing up this month. It’s actually the only newspaper I read faithfully every week! I’d be happy to pay a small subscription to keep it going; hopefully if enough people feel the same, it would have a chance.
