It was due to come here in 2020 but was postponed until 2021 because of covid. A dear friend of mine had purchased 4 tickets worth over $300 and now the show is not coming to Palmerston North, however she has not received a refund for her purchased tickets and seems to be having a hard time getting anyone to sort it. Has anyone else had this problem?
We rang consumer NZ and they said the company she bought the tickets from (through Regent Theatre) had gone into liquidation and put us through to someone else that said they had not. I see on the internet shows in other cities still have their dates that they are supposedly going ahead but not Palmy. Can anyone help with this?
Many thanks ๐ My friend is a lady in her 60's and I really feel for her ๐

I prefer complete examples but will consider those with missing or damaged parts. If you have any you are looking to sell or get rid of please email me at mart77646@gmail.com, I am particularly interested in early examples with lots of brass and cast iron from the late 19th/early 20th century, although I do appreciate any offers! Examples below of what I am looking for. Thanks!

The restrictions came in at 8am today, with a ban on any outdoor fires unless a permit has been granted by Fire and Emergency.
Principal Rural Fire Officer Bradley Shanks says that the drier conditions have warranted a change from an open fire season.
"A restricted fire season means you will need to apply for a permit for any outdoor fire and follow the conditions listed on your fire permit," he says.
Here's what you need to know:
- You must have a fire permit to light any outdoor fires.
- Hangi, umu and gas-fired barbecues are still permitted.
To find out further information on the fire seasons and to apply for a fire permit, head to www.checkitsalright.nz...

Mould grows in damp areas where there is a food source such as dust, dirt or organic material. Thatโs why single glazed or drafty windows, where condensation and dust are common, are often a problem area.
What are some tips for preventing mould growth?
Clean soft furnishings regularly according to the manufacturerโs instructions. This usually involves a regular light vacuum, with less frequent dry cleaning or laundering. Regularly clean windows and wipe down window surrounds and venetian blinds or shutters with a mild detergent in warm water.
Does the material of the curtains affect how much mould will grow?
Yes, consider selecting window coverings manufactured from man-made materials, particularly in damp areas such as the bathroom, kitchen and on south-facing windows. Itโs best to use a wipe-able, water-resistant blind or shutter in wet areas like bathrooms and kitchens. Even man-made fabrics donโt cope well in those environments.
How do I remove the mould?
Once mould develops itโs best to nip it in the bud as early as possible with a thorough clean. Keep reading: www.curtainclean.co.nz...
