Going with the Flow - Fluid Art Exhibition Opening 3pm

Natasha from Ashhurst - Pohangina

3pm today (Sun 1 August) at the Feilding and District Art Society, 104 Manchester St, Feilding

You are invited to join us at the Feilding and District Art Society this afternoon to celebrate the opening of this beautiful fluid art (or poured art) exhibition by Rochelle MacBeth.

Rochelle began her creative journey just 3 years ago. She had heard of 'fluid art' or 'pouring art' and decided to try it out. She absolutely loved the process and has been hooked ever since!

Since her first pour she has learnt many techniques and gained a real eye for colour and composition. Of learning new techniques Rochelle say's "There has been a lot of paint wasted along the way - but if you don't make mistakes you don't learn!"

Recently Rochelle has been working on commissions and loves the feeling of pleasure she gets when a client sees their ideas come to life!

Light refreshments will be served and there will be an opportunity to meet Rochelle and discuss her work and what inspires her.

Everyone is welcome - there is no need to book and there is no charge to attend.

Following the Opening Celebration the exhibition will run 2 - 20 August.

Poll: As a customer, what do you think about automation?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Press investigates the growing reliance on your unpaid labour.

Automation (or the “unpaid shift”) is often described as efficient ... but it tends to benefit employers more than consumers.

We want to know: What do you think about automation?
Are you for, or against?
