URGENT ALERT ( SCAMS )

Sue from West End

Just to let you all know there is a scammer at work had a call last night saying going to take a large sum of money out of a/c so promptly notified bank and had a/c's disabled.
Today had another saying our internet was going to be disconnected so have now changed ph . no.
Have had to do a scan and reset password for banking and change ph. no.
Phone provider said even giving Ph. no's out on Neighbourly is a risk as they can be used by scammers. Scammers always ring through another no, they never use the same no twice so they can not be blocked.
Will only be using the Private message system on Neighbourly from now on.
PLEASE KEEP SAFE and be AWARE with your private information.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
