Volunteers Needed.
Digital Seniors is looking for volunteers to help seniors with their digital devices.
You don’t have to be a tech wizard; we are looking for people with a working knowledge of how the average phone or tablet works (and can explain it to others). Above all, we’re looking for someone kind, patient, and who wants to really make a difference in the life of a senior.
Volunteering with us is very rewarding and is a fantastic way to meet and get to know some of the amazing seniors in our community as well as joining a very special team of volunteers.
We’d need you for a few hours a week – we need volunteers to help in the following locations.
Masterton (at the Library) – Wednesdays from 10 am – 12 pm
A Masterton Rest Home– Fridays from 10:30 am – 12 pm
A Carterton Rest Home – Monday’s from 10 am – 12 pm
If you would like more information please call 0800 373 646 or email sarah.wright@digitalseniors.co.nz

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!

💬 Our question to you: Do we sometimes overlook plants when investing in conservation?
Have you spotted this weed in your area, or noticed other local efforts to protect our native flora?
