Tararua District in restricted fire season
The Tararua District is now in a restricted fire season.
In a statement issued this afternoon, Fire and Emergency NZ said that any individuals who wish to light an outdoor fire may need to apply for a permit.
To apply for a permit, head to checkitsalright.nz and follow the instructions.
