MetService has issued a heavy rain watch for the following:
Area: Wairarapa and the Tararua District including the Tararua Range.
Valid: 14 hours from 1:00pm Tuesday to 3:00am Wednesday.
Forecast: Periods of heavy rain. Rainfall amounts may approach warning criteria about the Tararua Range and the coastal hills.
An update for severe weather will be issued by 10:00am today.
