Sunday Craft Market
i have just heard the Sunday Craft Market is no more, After 40 years it has stopped. One of the biggest drawcards to Rotorua has gone. Every Sunday my partner and I would go and enjoy a cup of coffee and pot of chips and wonder about all the stalls, I am sure it will be very much missed and a lot of people will be out of pocket over the craft they make and sell. I am sure there must be other places for the craft stalls to be held.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
