Chair Yoga
Chair yoga class is very different to what you might think of as yoga. This class is about supporting functional mobility, the kind of movement that helps you to continue to carry-out day to day tasks, to help you to continue to look after yourself and your wellbeing.
Chair yoga is also a way to practice yoga that will allow you to manage ageing and chronic conditions, as well as support pain management, insomnia, and your mindset. It will support you over time to become more resilient and learn to cope with the changes of your conditions.
Chair yoga will incorporate focus and coordination, which can support memory, body awareness and physical balance.
Age Concern Hawke's will be offering a FREE 8-week class. First session is October 27th at 9:30am. Location is the Waipawa Senior Citizens Hall at 55b Waverley Street, Waipawa.
Booking Essential as numbers are limited. Phone ☎ 06 858 9158 or email 📧 healthpromotion@ageconcernhb.co.nz
