A BRILLIANT REBUILD & REPAIR in Waipukurau by a couple.

Paul from Levin

A builder and his wife also with building experience were interested in this house. They waited and eventually bought it, but in very degraded condition. Together they spent over 2 years full-time, recreating it with recycled timber. They also removed some sheds which had been at the back and extended and raised the back half of the house to get a clear and outstanding view of central Hawkes Bay across to the North and the Ruahine Range. (Built 1910)

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?

ACCOMMODATION REQUIRED

Gary from Waikanae

Our grandson (20) recently moved to Kapiti from Taranaki and is looking for accommodation. Anything considered.
He describes himself as clean and tidy, friendly but a bit reserved and quiet.
I would add trustworthy and family orientated.
