MARKET DAY - DECEMBER 07 - SATURDAY 8.30am to Noon - Hall at rear of Uniting Church - next to Levin Adventure Park

Lyn from Levin

This will be the last market day for us prior to Christmas.

There will be an array of items for sale, for my stall:

$5 to $15
Prices vary according to size and plant type:
Several kinds of young, well established, clean, well fed semi-tropical plants as well as some young Billbergia.

$20 - to $15
I also have a range of crystal drops and beads - most are entirely crystal drops, crystal or glass beads, with an occasion 'other' - any of them hung in a sun-spot window will refract 'rainbows' around your room - or car etc.

$6 or $5
A Levin group of 7 writers recently printed a booklet of poetry - 4 pieces each. They are written by the person named and not copied from anywhere (see separate item)., I will have one to show and take orders for printing on the Monday - deliverable as far as a close to Levin area. These are $6 each as prices of printing have risen .... we also have 5 copies of the previous booklet at $5 each. The latter is from midy-year so is also recent.

$25
Textured tin 'vases' which are colourful and faux flowers to match. They look great - don't need watering and will last 'much longer. There are just five left now.

Mei Leng Wong Reporter from NZ Gardener & Get Growing

Kia ora neighbours. We know your tomato plants are still growing, but we're looking ahead to the harvest already! If you've got a family recipe for tomatoes, we'd love to see it and maybe publish it in our magazine to share with our readers. Send your recipe to mailbox@nzgardener.co.nz, and if we use it in the mag, you will receive a free copy of our February 2025 issue.
