RAISING FUNDS for FAMILIES in UKRAINE - Music & Dancing at TE HORO HALL
Its getting closer! SAT 12 November will be a fun night - music, entertainment, dancing, raffles & auction at TE HORO HALL.
ROTARY is raising funds for families in Ukraine: -
Greg Christensen, and two local bands are giving their time for free to entertain
Kapiti businesses have donated goods to auction and raffle
The event is low cost - only $10 pp entry
Further donations are welcome (receipts provided on request only)
BYO drinks and nibbles (tea, coffee available)

Bring your friends, wear your dancing shoes - the music will keep going and the dance floor is yours!!
ROTARY have international systems to ensure funds raised reach those who need it. Please support this event - raise funds for those in need while having a fun night out.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
