Food recall: Similac, Alimentum and EleCare brand Infant Formula Products for Special Dietary Use
Abbott Laboratories NZ Ltd is recalling specific batches of its Similac, Alimentum and EleCare brands of infant formula products for special dietary use due to the possible presence of Cronobacter and Salmonella Newport. People who have purchased infant formulae online should check our website to see if the batch codes on the product is affected by the recall. If you have any affected product, it should not be consumed. People whose infant might have consumed affected product should contact their health professionals for advice.
