Hikoi to raise awareness of todays Homeless
Come and join us on the 4 December. Start gathering at the Kapiti Rd end of McLean St, Paraparaumu Beach to be ready to leave at 2.00 pm. This is a call for action on our housing crisis. Walk, listen and speak. We will be leaving from the carpark there (next to Kapiti Court Hotel, opposite Beach Bakery.) We will need to follow Level 2 Covid rules wearing masks and keeping a physical distance. Also only 100 people. Look at the flyer for the route and see you there on the 4 December. The Petition which is currently circulating around the larger Kapiti area will be presented to Teria Ngobi about 4.00 pm. Leave a message here in a reply for any queries

A great day at the Thompson House 50th Anniversay today. The Pipes & Drums of Horowhenua came and entertained which was appreciated by many. Great Coffee by the Ambo van, lovely fresh fruit icecream by Freezing Bay, delicious Sausages Sizzle by Menz shed. Finishing up the great and interesting weekend with some Christmas punch and an Anniversary cake to say a big Thank you to the volunteers for all the hard work that helped to make a very successful weekend and allowed many of the Levin Community to reminisce of days gone by and plan for the future. Also a big Thank you Horowhenua Councillors and Council staff who paid us a visit . It was much appreciated by the Thompson House Committee.
