NZ Transport Age looking for ideas for time capsule
Hi Neighbourly Ōtaki folk. if you could put something into a time capsule to represent Ōtaki, what would it be?
Would it be? Music? Art? Clothing? A menu?
The PP2Ō team is seeking submissions for items to be included in a time capsule beneath one of the Interchange Gateway Sculptures.
The theme is ‘Your Ōtaki – what Ōtaki means to you’.
All items must be dry and non-perishable, so materials like paper, plastic or glass will work best.

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
