With kids heading back to school this week we thought it's a good time to ask your thoughts on education in Kāpiti – what could be improved? Share your vision for Kāpiti and have your say online now 👉🏼haveyoursay.kapiticoast.govt.nz...

We want to make sure everyone in Kāpiti can access a range of education services to help them to pursue fulfilling careers. We also need to make sure they’re the right type of education services so we can encourage rangatahi (young people) to study here and then stay on to work locally. ✏️🎓📚

We’re already exploring options for an education hub to help students find pathways to employment right here in Kāpiti – and we’d like to hear what you think Kāpiti needs now and for the future.

Visit haveyoursay.kapiticoast.govt.nz... to share your ideas and aspirations! Your feedback will help to inform a districtwide vision to enable a sustainable future and guide Council planning now, and over the next couple of decades.

Kāpiti, your Christmas wishes have come true! 🎄🎅 Join us for a fantastic day of holiday celebrations on Sunday, 10 December, from 11am to 4pm.

Be enchanted by the Christmas floats as they parade around Southward Car Museum's driveway starting at 11am. Santa himself will be there, so make sure to give him a friendly wave! 🎅

And the fun doesn't stop there! Head behind the museum for a festival filled with bouncy castles, delicious food trucks, live music, and more. And of course, remember to visit Santa in his Grotto.

A free Christmas Bus will leave Paraparaumu train station every 30 minutes to bring attendees to the event and back again – first bus departs at 10.30am for the parade.

Thinking about joining the parade with your own float? Make sure you read our parade rules before completing the entry form. To learn more about entering, visit www.kapiticoast.govt.nz...

Thanks to our main sponsor, Voyle & Co Realty, for helping us make this event possible.
