casual work available at retirement village
Hi Neighbours,
I am the lead wellness manager in a retirement village and currently looking for casual staff to join the emergency response team. This is to provide cover when our regular staff are away.
We are in Mairangi Bay.
Shifts might be dayshift, nightshift or weekend.
You’re able to sleep during nightshift so this is great if you want to earn whilst you sleep.
No qualifications are needed but initiative and problem-solving skills are essential as the main task is responding to emergency situations.
You will need a first-aid certificate. If you don’t have one talk to us and we may be able to help.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
-
59.4% Yes, supporting people is important!
-
26.4% No, individuals should take responsibility
-
14.2% ... It is complicated

The Reserve Bank has shared some pretty blunt advice: there’s no such thing as a “safe” job anymore 🛟😑
Robots are stepping into repetitive roles in factories, plants and warehouses. AI is taking care of the admin tasks that once filled many mid-level office jobs.
We want to know: As the world evolves, what skills do you think give a CV the ultimate edge in a robot-filled workplace?
