Andalusian Gelding for sale
Andalusian Gelding - registered FOR SALE in Warkworth. 13 years old. $3500 (negotiable).
NOT SUITABLE FOR DRESSAGE, JUMPING ETC. HE IS SUITBALE FOR HACKING, GENTLE RIDING etc.
Handsome was on trial last week. The proposed owner loved him. Naturally, she had a vet check conducted. Handsome failed vet check. (All vital signs were good). BUT X-rays show “changes in right front fetlock, Auckland Vet Centre Xrays indicated “bone/joint degeneration disease”. Which means, he is not suitable for dressage, rigorous riding, jumping etc. I was shocked. VET REPORT WILL BE AVAILABLE TO ANYONE THAT IS SERIOUSLY CONSIDERING HIM.
Handsome has never been lame before, in my time of owning him for 3 years, (my vet records will be available to potential owner), nor with the previous owner who bought him in 2008 @ 4yrs old. (I keep in touch with her). However joint degeneration disease means he is likely to become lame at some stage in the future.

Reason for selling - I am not riding him much and it is not fair on Handsome. It saddens me deeply to sell him, though I need to do the right thing for Handsome - he loves riding. MOST IMPORTANT - he MUST go to a home who will love him dearly, look after him and every aspect of his well-being, and also needs a paddock buddy. (Photos of Handsome with my partner).
Handsome Wants to please, very chatty, talks a lot. Comes up to you in the paddock, talking.... He has an incredibly beautiful nature and loves his humans. He adores children.
Handsome is so placid, if I don’t ride for months, then jump on him - he is absolutely fine.
No vices, no dirty behaviour. Not racey - likes a gentle ride, trustworthy, doesn’t spook, very safe to ride. He has a beautiful personality, loves his mate our Kune Kune, our dog and our ducks.
He is so placid, I did not ride him for 6 months last year and jumped in him and he was perfect.
He would suit either someone returning to riding (which is what I did after years of no riding), or someone wanting to hack out and have fun. PM me if interested. Thanks for viewing in Warkworth. 🌹 PM me or phone 021 274 474 or 022 308 4259

Animal Abuser
🚨 URGENT WARNING TO ALL LOST & FOUND / PET REHOMING PAGES 🚨 and people rehoming pets or reporting lost animals.
It has come to our attention that a long-term, repeat animal abuser is still actively obtaining animals through Facebook groups.
The type of animal does not matter — birds, livestock, dogs, small pets — anything he can access.
He monitors rehoming pages. He approaches people offering “help.” He presents as reasonable. He will say the right things.
Do not give this person any animals under any circumstances.
If you are an admin of a lost & found page, a community group, or a pet rehoming group:
• Please stay vigilant
• Check profiles carefully
• Share this warning across your networks
Animals have already paid the price for people not knowing.
If you are unsure about someone requesting an animal, ask rescue groups to help.
Poll: 🤖 What skills do you think give a CV the ultimate edge in a robot-filled workplace?
The Reserve Bank has shared some pretty blunt advice: there’s no such thing as a “safe” job anymore 🛟😑
Robots are stepping into repetitive roles in factories, plants and warehouses. AI is taking care of the admin tasks that once filled many mid-level office jobs.
We want to know: As the world evolves, what skills do you think give a CV the ultimate edge in a robot-filled workplace?
