There is a cradle to hold a pen across the back
But what are the indents for?
Nib holder?
Blotter holder?
Paper clip holder? Nah, they didn't have paper clips early 1900's did they?
Has the brilliance of crystal, so I'm not sure whether it's glass or crystal
In excellent order, no chips
