Poll: Was this shirt pink enough for Pink Shirt Day?
Hi neighbours. A 12-year-old boy was sent home from Helensville Primary School on Friday morning as the school claimed the shirt he was wearing was not pink enough for Pink Shirt Day, which was a symbolic stand against bullying led by the Mental Health Foundation. An email sent to the boy's mother from the school said he was sent home as students were told to wear pink if they had it, or wear uniform. No mufti was permitted.
