MYSTERY SOLVED - no such thing as 'Council' approved 'No Junk Mail' sticker

Michael from Orewa

Regarding my post yesterday as to John from Exterior Waterblasters insistence that he could put whatever advertising material in any letterbox he wanted (regardless of 'no junk mail' or no Advertising material') if they did not have the Official 'Council' sticker for no junk mail, it turns out that this was just a complete fabrication to fuel his driving ambition to rule and dominate the world of water blasting. Hmmm...integrity and respect for other's rights not looking like part of this picture.

My husband visited the Council this morning and was told there was no such thing as a Council supplied junk mail sticker. They gave us the Marketing Association number which we called to be also told this did not exist.

So beware if you use John as it seems that his pursuit of the dollar will outweigh his care for the job done and his respect of his client's wishes.....especially if you happen to complain about his work (ear muffs required :-) )

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
