Traffic is backed up on SH1. Photos of the scene show a boat sitting side-ways, across the lanes, with crashed vehicles surrounding it.

What you need to know:
- A boat, having fallen off of a vehicle, is blocking all the northbound lanes on SH1 in Auckland, causing a large traffic jam.- According to Waka Kotahi.
- The crash is closing the motorway after the Oteha Valley Rd off-ramp, near Albany.
- Witness Ashley Silveira who was driving in front of the boat, said the traffic was moving at 100kmh at the time. He looked up in his rear view mirror and saw the vehicle that was losing control. The lanes had merged and the trailer started jackknifing, the trailer dis-attached and the ute was whipped around. He said the boat then flew off and went rolling down the motorway.
- Emergency services can be seen on the scene.

Further updates can be found through Waka Kotahi or on the Stuff website.

I am the 1st NZ owner and this car has proved extremely reliable and smooth and quiet to drive. Regularly serviced. Tyres are very new. Car is in excellent condition.
This was a 2nd car for me so didn’t get a lot of mileage. I can no longer afford to own 2 cars so it’s time for a reluctant sale.

I’ve never used a fast charger. Only charged at home. I never charged it over 80% or discharged it below 20% (better for battery life)

G spec model means it is loaded with extras:
Heated front and rear seats
Heated steering wheel
Traction control Side
Aribags
Cruise control
17” Alloy wheels
CD player
B-mode: Regenerative braking (saves brake pad wear and extends range)
Solar panel
Reversing camera
Bluetooth
Steering wheel controls
Comes wth EV car charger (not pictured)
Air conditioning
Remote locking
Electric mirrors
ABS Brakes
