Hunting dogs are going back to school in Opotiki and their higher qualifications are helping save Kiwi and dollars for their owners.
Opotiki District Council passed a resolution in April to allow hunting dogs who undertake "avian aversion training" classes to be classified as working dogs which reduces the cost of registering the animal from $110 to $40 a year.
