Skate sessions in January

Want to go skating again in 2025. We have been overwhelmed by ther support in 2024. Some of our volunteers are able to run some sessions in January during the day and regular Fridays will start up again in February. Watch FB "Skate Sport Taranaki"
Get ready to roll, skate fam!

We’re turning up the tunes and getting ready for some epic summer skate sessions!
Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just learning to glide, this is your time to shine. Bring your best moves, your crew, and all the energy. It’s going to be non-stop fun, and we want YOU there!

When: 14th, 21st, 23rd & 28th January
Time: 1.00pm - 3.00pm
Where: New Plymouth Skating Arena - East End Reserve - Strandon
Why: Because you deserve some time to let loose and ride the vibe!
Don’t miss out—lace up, roll out, and let’s make these summer skate sessions legendary. 🎶🛼

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
