Overnight campers lsel entrance

Barry from Stoke

Over the last few weeks on my daily walk I have noticed a big influx of campervans and people sleeping in smaller vehicles overnight on this entrance driveway to front gate I am aware that there are three spaces available near the gate which are marked in blue paint for overnighting. Has this whole driveway now designated for campers overnighting. I have counted up to 30 vehicles on any morning. As a lot of these parks are used by park users and nearby workers it would seem that they are forced to park elsewhere Just wondering if there has been a change of policy or perhaps the legitimate camping grounds are full.

Poll: Should upgraded heritage buildings reflect the different eras and updates they’ve gone through over time?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Nelson City Council is working to restore the glasshouse at Broadgreen House, which has begun to crack and buckle.

We want to hear your thoughts: should heritage restoration aim to keep buildings looking as they originally did, or should it reflect the different eras and updates they’ve gone through over time?

Keen for the details? The Nelson Mail has you covered.
