This strategy will help ensure we create opportunities for all of us to participate, contribute and be valued as we age. On December 18, Waka Kotahi New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) dropped the speed limits along SH6 between Nelson and Blenheim.
Police say the majority of road users were adhering to the new limits, with an educational approach had been taken in monitoring driver behaviour, while motorists have been largely accepting of the changes.
What has been your experience of the speed limit changes? Has it resulted in noticeably slower travel times or different driver behaviour?
Whakatū Marae and Founders Heritage Park made the joint decision to cancel the festival, scheduled for Waitangi Day, taking into account an “incredibly challenging” 2020, and the ongoing threat of Covid-19.
